Dear Brothers and Sisters, Introducting, The Flower of Love...

Come explore the lives of two young souls as they discover  the true meaning of love, and find fulfillment in the quest  for meaning...

They held each other very closely, as they gazed at the surrounding mountains from a foothill on the outskirts of a hill station in India.  Parking his motorbike on the shoulder of the main road, they rested to feast on the beauty of their surroundings.  They were enjoying the scenery, and each other, as time stood still.  They talked, laughed, and pointed out to each other the many beautiful things to see.  Their minds wondered aimlessly, sometimes enjoying the mountains, sometimes enjoying the small village in the valley below, and the rest of the time enjoying the God-given attraction they had for each other.

“Tell me, how long have we been together?“  Juhi whispered in Ravi’s ears.  Juhi was a beautiful young woman –full figured, with a somewhat light complexion.  She was of a cheerful disposition, and her face almost always glowed with a smile.  Ravi Rawal (Raa-wal) was a handsome chap with a light complexion, a full mustache, and a strong, muscular build.

“I haven’t forgotten, Juhi.  It was exactly one year ago that we met,” replied Ravi.

“Mmm Hmm,” Juhi replied in the typical Hindi gesture for “no,” bursting in her beautiful bubbly laughter that Ravi found so attractive.

“Hey.  You tell me,” he said very romantically, as he held her tightly, and gazed in her eyes.

She shied away from his clutches, then came back and whispered into his ears, “God made us together eons ago.”  Juhi believed that they were soul mates having lived many lives.

The two were young and in good health.  Like most young blood, Ravi had plans for the future--plans of success in business, wealth, and prestige.  Juhi, on the other hand, was of a different color.  She enjoyed living the day, and did not exactly know where she was going in life.  Having achieved a teaching degree, she soon found her heart moved by children, especially those less privileged.  Thus she found herself teaching at a non-profit school for children who were mentally challenged.

Ravi was not the brightest student, but he had confident, young blood, and he managed to graduate with a business degree.  He was very fortunate to gain experience and knowledge at his father’s construction business, although he relished making his own name and fame in life, for which he felt lacking.

It was not long before Ravi and Juhi were married.  They were renting and living in a picturesque little villa across the seaboard of the port city.  It was a happy life at first.  Ravi remained totally infatuated with Juhi.  Coming home from the office, he was lost in her--her intoxicating smile, which was almost a part and parcel of her face itself, her buxom figure, and her bubbly laugh were more than Ravi could resist.  Each day he brought home a bouquet of flowers.  Driving home, he had the impatience of a habitual smoker denied cigarettes; he couldn’t wait to throw himself into her arms.  Her hunger for him was not quite as large, but they loved each other, and it was a happy life.

“You brought me  flowers, again?” asked Juhi.

“Why not, my love?  If you say the word, tomorrow I'll bring you home the whole garden!” exclaimed Ravi.

“Alright I know you love me very much Ravi, but you are still working for your father, and we have to save money to build our own house,” said Juhi.

“So then, you don’t want my flowers?”

“Oh, the flowers are nice, but I wonder about our future.”

“You don’t worry about that!  I am here, aren’t I?  Don’t you believe in me?”

Juhi started to panic, “Of course I do!  And the flowers are beautiful!” she exclaimed.

“Then take these flowers my love, and surround yourself in them!  You blend right in!  Tomorrow, I’ll bring home the whole garden!”

“Oh no!  How did I get myself into that trap?” she wondered.
